Interview with Jamie Oliver by Mauro Butigan

TV Reporter: Hi Jamie, I’m so glad you are here with us today.

Jamie: I’m glad I’m here and I have to thank you for the invitation.

TV Reporter: So the first question is from our viewers . How did you get your nickname “The Naked Chef”

Jamie: I got that nickname by accident. I intended the name naked for food, not for me, but a lot of people knew me as “The Naked Chef” so I kept the nickname.

TV Reporter: A lot of your fans know you are dyslexic, but is it true that the first time you read the whole book was when you were 38 years old.

Jamie: Yeah, that’s true, it was hard, but I enjoyed being lost in my imagination while reading.

TV Reporter: I got to congratulate you on that . A lot of dyslexic people never complete a whole book.

Jamie: Thank you.

TV Reporter: The whole world knows you are into cooking, but are you interested in other things like sports , music or even politics. A lot of famous people are getting into politics now.

Jamie: I am not really into politics, but I used to play drums in my high school band. I also like football and I tried to purchase David Beckham’s game-worn shoes on an auction but unfortunately I lost the bid.

TV Reporter: You published many cook books. Can you tell us are you gonna publish more of them and have many have you published so far.

Jamie: I have published 29 cook books so far and plan to publish many more.

TV Reporter: Is it true that you are a big fan of Royal Family, and if you are, who is your favorite member.

Jamie: I am a big fan of Royal Familiy and I don’t have a favorite. I support them equally.

TV Reporter: Jamie, it was so nice interviewing you, but time flew away, so let me ask you the last question for tonight. Are you going to stay in the food industry or are you planning to do other things or maybe even retire?

Jamie: I will play it safe and stay in the food industry because cooking is my life and I love everything about it.

TV Reporter: Jamie thank you once more for coming .

Jamie: Thank you for having me.

TV Reporter: Ladies and gentelmen, I hope you enjoyed this week’s interview with brilliant chef father and husband Jamie Oliver.
